At the Journal of Pedagogical Insights & Technological Advancements (J-PITA), we are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethics in all aspects of our publication process. To ensure the authenticity and originality of the research we publish, we adhere to the following ethical guidelines:
1. Originality and Plagiarism
We are committed to publishing only original material that has not been previously published or is under consideration elsewhere. Each submission to J-PITA undergoes a rigorous plagiarism check using advanced software tools. Manuscripts found to be plagiarized or duplicated will be rejected immediately.
Although we perform plagiarism checks on all submissions, it is possible that some duplications from external sources may go unnoticed. In such cases, once brought to our attention and verified, the plagiarized content will be retracted from the journal issue. We encourage our readers to report any suspected instances of plagiarism to uphold the journal’s commitment to 100% originality and quality.
2. Copyright and Licensing
Submission of a manuscript to J-PITA implies that the work described has not been published previously (except as an abstract, conference presentation, or part of a thesis) and is not under review elsewhere. All works published in J-PITA are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License. This allows others to copy, distribute, and adapt the work, provided the original work is properly cited.
3. Open Access Policy
J-PITA supports open access, making the content of all issues freely available online. Authors retain the copyright to their published work while allowing unrestricted access to readers without financial or legal barriers. This ensures the wide dissemination of knowledge while respecting the authors’ rights.
4. Publication Fees
J-PITA is a non-profit journal. A nominal publication fee is collected to cover the operational costs of maintaining the journal’s platform and services. However, no intermediaries are authorized to collect fees or solicit submissions. Any suspicious activities should be reported to the editorial team immediately.
5. Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts to J-PITA undergo a double-blind peer review process, ensuring that both the reviewers’ and authors’ identities remain anonymous throughout the review. The journal ensures fair, unbiased evaluations, and the names of reviewers are periodically updated on the journal’s website.
6. Author Declaration
Upon acceptance of an article, all authors must submit a signed declaration affirming the originality of their work. This declaration ensures that the authors take full responsibility for the content, authenticity, and ethical standards of their submissions.
By adhering to these guidelines, J-PITA ensures the integrity, transparency, and ethical rigor of its publications, contributing to the advancement of academic research and pedagogy.
